A family friendly restaurant catering to the infant child right up to the senior citizens. The food is good and the service staff are also friendly. Will return again.

Dian Xiao Er (Bedok Mall): A Comforting Feast of Herbal Duck & Signature Dishes! My recent dinner at Dian Xiao Er at Bedok Mall was a thoroughly enjoyable affair, confirming its reputation as a reliable spot for comforting Chinese cuisine. The evening was highlighted by their famous duck and a selection of delicious accompanying dishes, all served in a clean and pleasant setting. We, of course, had to try their signature Duck Roasted with Angelica Herb. It was everything I expected and more – the duck was incredibly tender and succulent, infused with the subtle yet aromatic notes of the angelica herb. The skin was perfectly roasted, offering a delightful crispness without being overly fatty. Each bite was a testament to their mastery of this classic dish; it's truly a must-try for any first-timer. Beyond the duck, we delved into a few other popular selections. The Signature Wheatgrass Tofu with Seafood was a pleasant surprise. The tofu itself was silky smooth with a subtle hint of wheatgrass, providing a refreshing base for the generous medley of fresh seafood. It was a light yet flavourful dish that balanced out the richness of the duck perfectly. The Claypot Fish Curry packed a wonderful punch. The curry was aromatic and rich, with just the right amount of spice, and the fish was tender and absorbed the flavours beautifully. It’s a comforting and robust dish that goes wonderfully with rice. Another standout was the Crispy Lotus Roots and Pumpkin in Salted Egg Sauce. This dish was a revelation! The lotus roots and pumpkin were perfectly fried to a delightful crispness, and the salted egg sauce was simply addictive – creamy, savoury, and perfectly coating each piece without being overly greasy. It's a fantastic textural and flavour experience, a unique take on a popular flavour profile. Throughout our meal, the service was prompt and efficient. The staff were attentive and ensured our needs were met without being intrusive. The restaurant itself was clean and pleasant to dine in, contributing to a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Overall, our dinner was a culinary delight, with every dish hitting the mark. Considering the quality and the comforting ambience, we felt it offered great value, especially when factoring in the current voucher promotion that makes the experience even more accessible and rewarding. Highly Recommended for a delicious and comfortable dining experience!

A part timer auntie, very pro-active, helped my elderly mother to re-active her un-used vouchers which my mother completely forgotten. We came in around 6pm+, crowd is filling the area but auntie is also patience to guide my elderly mother how to redeem the voucher and ended up we paid only $0.20, my mother was so happy. This is the type of customer service a server have to had, even until this moment my mother still keeps praising the auntie. Auntie, is kind, patience and most importantly we feel the genuine love of care, eat first then pay later using the apps which usually is once ordered must pay first before food arrived. So when the food arrived, it make the eating taste even better because eating happily just feel so good. My mother Assam fish curry, I happened to try their crab noodles - very unique taste, creative it’s one new dish to me. Both you need to try it is nice! Overall experience is 10 stars for service 10 stars for food taste. Thank you very much.

Food was awesome, been here several times. Duck skin was so crispy and meat tender and juicy. The staff serving were very professional and provided excellent service, the service staff attending to us was Yu Mei who provided excellent recommendations and clarifications

Solid restaurant chain with consistently good quality dishes. Their trademark herbal duck is as good as it ever was. Tofu was great, french fragrant. Even the free mushroom appetiser was well done. Many Singaporeans have had good experiences with this restaurant chain over time, and I'm no exception. Looking forward to this chain doing well going into the future. About friction points - The dinner sets weren't as worthit as I'd initially thought. I didn't like how the app didn't automatically sign us up given our phone number. So we missed out on loyalty points, that part didn't make us keen to come back.

Food came fast ! Service was very good and prompt. The food was delicious. Especially recommend the crispy lotus toots and pumpkin salted egg sauce.

Good food. Good ambience. The char siew and duck is must try. Soup is tasty but high price. Portion is small.

Kept their standards and upped the experience over the years! Was there weekend lunch with an elderly parent on wheelchair. Queue was around 4pax before us and wait was reasonable. 4 of us, we ordered the Dang Gui Duck, Crispy chicken with plum sauce, this tofu with shredded crab and this kailan with lime. We loved them all. Chilli inclusive :) Bill around $150+. Kudos to all the service staff who made sure Dad's seating needs and arranged for a table that he can seat more comfortably. Attentive and warm throughout too. Never felt hurried. Really appreciated that as it made his day out a great one. Dian Xiao Er is truly a place for all generations. Beside us, was a table of cute grandmas in the 70s- 90s celebrating bday and another a young couple with a cheeky baby boy. Thanks for serving great food while being an inclusive place for both our seniors and babies to enjoy too. Will definitely return with my fam and friends again
